Your teacher profile is the account-level layer above all your classrooms. Settings here affect every class you teach.
Opening Account Settings
Click your profile icon (typically in the bottom-left corner of any page). You'll land on a settings page organized into sections for profile, security, notifications, and plan information.
Updating Your Name
Your name appears to students, co-instructors, and on any documents you generate from the platform. To change it:
Open Account Settings.
Find the First Name and Last Name fields.
Update either field.
Save your changes.
The change is reflected immediately across the platform β students will see your new name the next time they log in.
Updating Your Email Address
Your email address is your login and where account notifications go. To change it:
Open Account Settings.
Find the Email Address field.
Enter your new email.
Save. You'll be prompted to verify the new email β check your inbox for a verification link.
Click the verification link to confirm the change.
Important: Until you verify the new email, your old email remains active. If you don't verify within a few days, the change may revert.
If you have trouble accessing your old email to receive the verification, contact support β we can help with manual verification.
Changing Your Password
Open Account Settings.
Find the Change Password section.
Enter your current password for verification.
Enter your new password twice to confirm.
Save.
You'll stay logged in on your current device after a password change, but other devices may require re-login.
Password best practices:
At least 12 characters
Mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
Don't reuse passwords from other accounts
Consider using a password manager (especially if your school provides one)
Forgot Your Password?
If you can't log in because you've forgotten your password:
Go to the Intertwined login page.
Click Forgot Password? below the login form.
Enter your email address.
Check your inbox for a reset link.
Follow the link to set a new password.
If the reset email doesn't arrive within 10 minutes, check spam or contact support.
Deleting Your Account
If you need to permanently delete your teacher account, contact support directly. Account deletion is irreversible and removes:
Your profile
Your access to all classrooms you've created
Your ability to log in
Classrooms you created may persist if other co-instructors are assigned, but you'll no longer have access to them.
For temporary leaves of absence, we don't recommend deletion β just stop logging in. Your account remains intact for whenever you return.
