Getting started with Intertwined takes about three minutes. Here's the step-by-step.
Step 1: Go to intertwinedfinance.com
Open your browser and navigate to intertwinedfinance.com. In the top-right corner, click Register.
Step 2: Select "I am a Teacher"
You'll see options for the type of account you want to create. Click "I am a Teacher".
Important: Make sure you select Teacher, not Student or Administrator. Each role has a different portal experience and different permissions. If you accidentally create the wrong account type, contact support before adding any classroom data.
Step 3: Enter Your Information
Fill in:
First and Last Name — This is how you'll appear to your students and co-teachers.
Email Address — Use your school email when possible. This will be your login and where account notifications go.
Password — Choose a strong password (at least 8 characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
School / Organization Name — Helps us route you to the right plan and connect you with any district-level subscriptions already in place.
Step 4: Verify Your Email
After submitting, check your inbox for a verification email from Intertwined. Click the Verify Email link to activate your account.
Can't find the email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it's still missing after 5 minutes, return to the login page and click "Resend verification email." Some school email systems delay external mail by 10–15 minutes — give it a moment before resending.
Step 5: Complete Your Profile
Once verified, you'll land on your Intertwined dashboard!

If your school or district already has a Core, Plus, Pro, or District subscription, your account will automatically inherit those features — no action needed on your part. If you're unsure, ask your administrator or check the bottom of your dashboard for your current plan badge.
