10.4 District & School-Wide Plans

What the District plan includes, when it makes sense for your school, and how to get started.

Written by Kerry Ao

The District plan is Intertwined's enterprise tier, designed for schools, districts, and statewide implementations. It builds on the Pro tier with additional features for managing many classrooms at scale.

What the District Plan Includes

Everything in Pro tier, plus:

Administrator Portal A separate portal for principals, district administrators, and curriculum coordinators. The Administrator Portal aggregates data across all classrooms in the district, showing:

  • District-wide and school-wide performance metrics

  • Teacher and classroom comparisons

  • Engagement and adoption analytics

  • Centralized user and permission management

SIS Integrations Direct integration with major Student Information Systems:

  • PowerSchool

  • Infinite Campus

  • Skyward

  • (Other systems supported case-by-case)

SIS integration enables automatic roster syncing β€” when students enroll or transfer in the SIS, their Intertwined accounts update automatically. No more manual roster management.

LMS Integrations Direct integration with major Learning Management Systems:

  • Google Classroom

  • Canvas

  • Schoology

  • (Other systems supported case-by-case)

LMS integration enables single sign-on, assignment pass-through, and grade pass-back. Students log into Intertwined through their LMS without separate credentials.

Priority Support District plan includes the fastest support response times and a dedicated Account Manager for the district relationship.

Custom Onboarding For larger implementations, Intertwined provides custom onboarding sessions, professional development for teachers, and implementation planning support.

When to Consider the District Plan

The District plan is right for your school if:

  • Multiple teachers at your school are already using or want to use Intertwined

  • You want centralized billing rather than individual teacher subscriptions

  • You need roster automation because manual student management is unsustainable at scale

  • An administrator needs visibility into cross-classroom data

  • You use a major SIS or LMS and want native integration

  • You're rolling out statewide or district-wide financial literacy mandates

When the District Plan Might Be Overkill

Stick with individual Core, Plus, or Pro tiers if:

  • You're a single teacher trying Intertwined for the first time

  • Only a few teachers at your school are using it

  • Your school's IT infrastructure doesn't include a centralized SIS or LMS

  • You're piloting Intertwined before a larger rollout decision

District Plan Pricing

District plan pricing is custom, based on:

  • Number of students

  • Number of schools in the district

  • Specific integrations required

  • Multi-year vs. annual contract

  • Professional development needs

How to Get Started

  1. Schedule a discovery call. Reach out to our team via the contact form. We'll discuss your needs and your district's situation.

  2. Pilot or trial. Many districts start with a small pilot β€” a few schools or grade levels β€” before committing to a full rollout. We can structure a pilot that lets you evaluate the platform before scaling.

  3. Implementation planning. Once you decide to move forward, we'll work with your team to plan rollout: SIS/LMS integration, teacher onboarding, professional development, and adoption metrics.

  4. Launch and support. Your Account Manager provides ongoing support through the year, including check-ins, training updates, and any technical issues.

Statewide Implementations

Intertwined has experience supporting statewide financial literacy initiatives. If your state has a mandate or is launching a financial literacy program, our team can support statewide rollouts including:

  • State-level admin dashboards

  • Standardized teacher training

  • Reporting alignment with state standards

  • Public outcomes reporting

Reach out via the contact form to discuss state-level implementations.
