Reduce copying — Neighbors are less likely to share answers when their questions aren't identical.
Fresh retakes — When a student retakes a quiz, variants let them practice the concept again instead of memorizing one answer key.
Fair assessment — Every variant targets the same learning objective, so students are measured on understanding, not luck.
What This Means for Grading
Variants don't change how mastery is calculated — each variant is weighted the same because it measures the same skill. You don't need to configure anything; variant selection is handled automatically when a student opens a quiz.
