12.2 Requesting a Live Training Webinar

How to access Intertwined's live training webinars, what they cover, and how to contribute insights.

Written by Kerry Ao

Intertwined offers live training webinars for teachers and administrators. These sessions are an opportunity to deepen your platform expertise, hear directly from the team, and connect with other educators.

Who Can Attend

Live webinars are available to:

  • Plus tier teachers and above

  • All District plan participants

  • Promotional period participants (e.g., "Stronger Together" promotion attendees)

Webinars are typically not available on Starter or Core tier as part of the standard offering. Special webinars or onboarding sessions may be offered separately.

Webinar Format

A typical webinar is:

  • 45–60 minutes long

  • Live and interactive, with Q&A

  • Recorded for later access (in case you can't attend live)

  • Hosted by Intertwined team members — usually a combination of product, education, and customer success staff

Common Webinar Topics

Topics rotate each semester and may include:

  • Platform updates — New features, recent releases, what's coming

  • Curriculum spotlights — Deep dives into specific courses or units

  • Simulator strategies — Best practices for using Budget, Stock, and Startup simulators

  • Classroom management — Pacing, differentiation, engagement

  • Data interpretation — Reading Classroom Performance and Gradebook insights

  • Standards alignment — How Intertwined maps to specific state or national standards

  • Q&A sessions — Open-format conversations with the team

How to Register

When a webinar is scheduled, you'll be notified through:

  • Email to your account email address

  • In-platform announcements on your dashboard

  • Account Manager outreach for Plus/Pro/District customers

To register, follow the link in the notification or contact your Account Manager.

Contributing Insights

The webinars are intentionally two-way. We want to hear from you:

  • What's working in your classroom?

  • What features would help you most?

  • What questions do other teachers have that you've answered?

  • What's surprised or frustrated you?

Bring questions, observations, and ideas to webinars. Many of our product improvements have come directly from webinar conversations.

Missing a Webinar

If you can't attend a live webinar:

  • Recordings are typically available afterward through your account dashboard or via email

  • Slides and resources from the webinar are usually shared with all registrants

  • You can submit questions in advance and watch the answers in the recording

Custom Trainings for Districts

District plan customers can request custom training sessions for their teachers. These are private webinars or in-person sessions tailored to:

  • Your district's specific curriculum requirements

  • Your teachers' specific levels of platform familiarity

  • Your district's rollout timeline

Contact your Account Manager to schedule custom training.

Requesting a Topic

If there's a topic you'd like to see covered in a future webinar:

  • Email support with your suggestion

  • Contact your Account Manager directly

  • Mention it during the Q&A of any live webinar you attend

The more teachers request a topic, the more likely it gets prioritized.
