Dear Parents, Guardians, and Families,

I am excited to share with you a new initiative that we are bringing into our classroom this year: Intertwined. As part of our commitment to preparing students not just academically, but also for the real world, we will be implementing this financial literacy program that is designed to build essential life skills such as financial responsibility, budgeting, and smart investing.

Intertwined is a comprehensive program used by schools across the country, and it has proven to be a great success in helping students understand and manage personal finances. Through interactive lessons and real-life financial simulations, students will gain practical experience in managing money, which is a crucial skill that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Here’s how the program works in our classroom:

  1. Classroom Integration: Our teachers will set up online classrooms through the Intertwined platform, which students can access both at school and at home. This flexibility allows students to continue their learning outside of the classroom.

  2. Interactive Curriculum: Students will engage with a range of subjects through Intertwined, including Personal Finance, Stock Market Investing, Entrepreneurship, and College and Career Readiness. These subjects are designed to be both educational and engaging, ensuring that students learn while enjoying the process.

  3. Real-World Financial Simulations: One of the most exciting features of the Intertwined program is the financial simulators. For example, students will have the opportunity to simulate adult financial responsibilities such as budgeting for food, paying rent, and dealing with unexpected expenses. They will also work on building a credit score and saving for large investments, like purchasing a house or a car.

  4. Feedback and Progress Monitoring: Teachers will have access to data on student interactions, assessment results, and performance in the simulators. This information will help teachers to identify areas where students may need additional support and to tailor the learning experience to meet each student’s needs.

We believe that Intertwined will provide your child with the tools they need to navigate financial challenges in the future, making them more confident and capable in managing their own finances as they grow. We encourage you to support your child in this endeavor. You can find more information about the program at www.intertwinedfinance.com.

If you have any questions or if you would like to discuss this program further, please do not hesitate to contact me at <insert email here>.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a successful year of learning and growth!

Sincerely,
