Whitelist URLs and links, and get your IT network ready to support Intertwined!

For Schools & IT Departments:

1. Ensure IT department is aware of the new platform and its requirements.

2. Account Creation and Integration

  • Create school administrator accounts on the Intertwined platform.

  • Integrate Intertwined with existing Learning Management Systems (LMS) if applicable.

3. Training and Orientation

  • Schedule and attend virtual professional development sessions for teachers and administrative staff.

  • Distribute Intertwined’s Support Center and resources to staff.

  • Plan an introductory session for students and parents about the platform’s benefits and usage.

For Teachers:

1. Account Setup

  • Create and verify your teacher account on Intertwined.

  • Join the appropriate school or district group within the platform.

2. Classroom Preparation

  • Set up your classes and invite students to join via email or unique class codes.

  • Customize the financial literacy curriculum based on your class needs.

  • Review available resources and lesson plans provided by Intertwined.

3. Technical Preparation

  • Ensure all classroom devices (computers, tablets) can access the Intertwined platform.

  • Bookmark Intertwined’s website on classroom computers for easy access.

  • Check compatibility of interactive features with classroom technology (smartboards, projectors, etc.).

4. Engagement and Monitoring

  • Familiarize yourself with the Intertwined platform’s student progress tracking tools.

  • Plan regular intervals for monitoring student progress and providing feedback.

For Users (Students, Employees, Etc.):

1. Account Creation

  • Students: Create a student account using the invitation link or class code provided by your teacher.

2. Technical Requirements

  • Ensure you have a reliable internet connection.

  • Verify that your device (computer or tablet) meets the minimum system requirements for Intertwined. Mobile phone devices are not currently compatible.

3. Learning Environment Preparation

  • Set up a dedicated study area free from distractions.

  • Bookmark Intertwined’s website on your home device for easy access.

4. Orientation and Usage

  • Watch introductory videos or tutorials on how to use the platform.

  • Review the financial literacy topics and resources available.

  • Participate in any introductory sessions or webinars offered by your school or Intertwined.

5. Engagement and Progress

  • Log in regularly to complete assignments and participate in interactive activities.

  • Monitor your own progress using the platform’s tools and report any issues to your teacher or support team.

  • Engage with peers through discussion forums and collaborative activities provided by Intertwined.

General Recommendations:

  • Support and Troubleshooting

    • Keep contact information for Intertwined’s support team readily available.

    • Regularly check for platform updates and new resources.

    • Encourage feedback from all users to improve the integration and usage of the platform.

  • Community Building

    • Promote a community of practice among teachers for sharing best practices and resources.

    • Encourage student and parent feedback to tailor the platform’s use to better fit your community’s needs.
